Brenda Corley, principal of Oceanside Collegiate Academy, and Chad Grier, athletic director and head football coach at the Mount Pleasant high school, enjoyed discovering all The Establishment on Broad Street has to offer. From comfortable dining at its best to a seafood-centric menu focusing on the fresh and sustainable ingredients surrounding the area, this spacious and elegant eatery houses two large and comfortable dining areas, a full bar and wine cellar, a private dining room and an open kitchen with a chef’s table. Executive Chef Matt Canter was raised in a small town in southern Maryland and spent his formative years on the water crabbing, fishing and boating. A graduate of The Culinary Institute of America in New York, Canter has worked at a wide array of properties. He was most recently sous chef at FIG and executive chef at The Park Café in Charleston.
