All over the Lowcountry, bars and restaurants have found interesting ways to answer those questions and satisfy customers’ desire for weeknight fun without commanding huge investments of either time or money. Bar and restaurant trivia games are free to play, so your only expenses are dinner, drinks and tips. And since most games have prizes that include house cash and sometimes buckets or pints of beer, if you play regularly, even those expenses can be surprisingly low. With a variety of trivia companies and independent DJs hosting games from Beaufort to Murrells Inlet, locals and visitors enjoy many options for playing — as families with useful age differences, as groups of friends with varied interests or as genius soloists.
