Join us behind the bar and in the kitchen to meet some of the people who make the magic happen at your favorite restaurants! In The KitchenWith… DYLANWALKER Chef at : Vintage Lounge. From : Sacramento, California. Favorite menu item to eat where you work : Seared foie gras. Go-to meal at home: Pasta carbonara. One cooking tool you can’t live without : My Vollrath spatula. Favorite ingredient to work with : Npstalgia. I want to tap into that feeling of peace that a home-cooked meal or certain dish brought to you as a kid. Hobbies outside the kitchen : Spending time with my wife and kids. Also working on project cars, backpacking, auto racing and trying my best to catch up on sleep! VINCENT BOBO Bartender at : Cane Rhum Bar and Caribbean Kitchen. From : Charleston, South Carolina. Favoritemenu item to eat where youwork : Jerk chicken. It’s delicious and spicy. Go-to meal at home : Crockpot chicken or spicy grilled fish. One bar tool you can’t live without : A good strainer. Makes a big difference when you’re making a classic daiquiri. You should never have bits of ice in your daiquiris, period. Favorite ingredient to work with : Sorrel. We make sorrel from hibiscus flowers, and it has a tangy, citrusy taste to it. Perfect addition to a cocktail for the distinct red color and taste. Hobbies outside the kitchen : Salsa and bachata dancing; when I’m behind the bar, it feels like I’m dancing with my co-workers, so it’s always a great time.
